You will need:
1 x Set of 7.5mm Knitting Needles
50grams of Yarn
Tapestry Needle
Ruler ot tape measure
Scissors
* Beads or buttons are optional extras if you choose to addorn your flower even further.. buttons and beads look great stitched to the centre of the flower
Using your 7.5mm Gauge Needles Cast on 40 Stitches
Pearl 1, Cast off 6, pearl 1, cast off 6, pearl 1, cast off 6, pearl1, cast off 6, pearl 1, cast off 6, pearl1 (You should have 10 stitches left on your needle)
Measure a length of wool that is attached to the ball of wool at 30-40cm and cut the yarn. Thread this end onto your tapestry needle and thread through the 10 stitches starting at the nearest stitch and pull tightly. As the thread pulls the flower will gather and you will be left with a beautifully formed daisy.
Treble stitch the end to ensure no unravelling.
You knitted flowers will make a beautiful embellishment to any scarf or knitted garment.
